The Vasquez Rocks Natural Park Area is a 745-acre park of unique geological rock formations located in the high desert near Agua Dulce Springs. The park features a history trail tour of the Tatavian Indians and Spanish settlers. Other activities include hiking, picnicking, and horseback riding. The main feature of the park of course are the Vasquez Rocks. The Vasquez Rocks have been used innumerable times in motion pictures, various television series and in moving and still photography advertisements, and continues to be used in them today. They are perhaps the most famous rocks in the country and certainly in California. Visible from the Antelope Valley Freeway (CA-14) they are a must see for the outdoor adventurer.
